CCM Group says unit CCM Industrial Pte Ltd has been served with a writ of summons by Rotol Projects.
The writ alleges that CCM Industrial has failed to make payment of $3.1 million for additional work done as instructed by CCM Industrial on the Park Regis Hotel project.
CCM Group says Rotol had brought the same claim before the Singapore Mediation Centre on 4 January 2011 but the adjudication application was dismissed by the SMC with costs to be borne by Rotol.
CCM Group has sought legal advice in respect of the writ and intends to defend its position vigorously and to institute a counterclaim against Rotol.
