Hyflux says fire at Algeria warehouse to cost around $60.2m

Hyflux said a fire broke out today at a warehouse of a seawater desalination plant in western Algeria.
 
“According to preliminary estimates, all related costs and damages arising from this incident are around US$50 million ($60.2 million),” the company said. Completion of the project is expected to be delayed till May 2012 instead of Aug. 2011, it said.
