Mainboard-listed LMA International N.V. says units The Laryngeal Mask Company Limited (Seychelles) and LMA PacMed Pty Ltd, have filed a lawsuit against Ultimate Medical Pty Ltd, two subdistributors, and their directors for patent infringement and for importing and selling the Guardian CPV Laryngeal Mask.
Among other outcomes, LMA is seeking an injunction against further sales of the Guardian masks and damages for past sales of the device.
In response to the complaint, LMA says the two subdistributors have either stopped marketing the Guardian Device or removed it from the subdistributor’s website.
LMA says the case should take one to two years to reach a final judgment.
