Mapletree Industrial Trust is raising up to $178 million by offering as many as 165.5 million placement and preferenial units, according to a term sheet seen by Bloomberg News.
The company is offering 48.5 million placement shares at between S1.07 and $1.09 per unit, and 117 million preference shares at between $1.05 to $1.07 each, the terms show. Mapletree plans to use the proceeds from the offering to partly fund the cost of buying flatted factories in Singapore.
