Parkway Novena on track to open in second half of next year

Parkway Pantai says it is on track to open Parkway Novena in the second half of next year. The hospital, costing almost $2 billion, is the first to be built by a private healthcare player in Singapore in the last 30 years, reported The Business Times.

Located along Irrawaddy Road, the 333-bed Parkway Novena Hospital will have a gross floor area of 794,344 sqft. The hospital will focus on treatments of heart and vascular diseases, orthopaedics and neurosciences, as well as general surgery.

Parkway Novena will add to the existing group of Mt Elizabeth, Gleneagles and Parkway East hospitals operated by Parkway Holdings in Singapore.

Parkway Holdings is now 100% owned by Parkway Pantai, which is in turn wholly-owned by  Integrated Healthcare Holdings, a subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional, Malaysia state investment holding company.
