Great Eastern to acquire 103.5m H shares of New China Life Insurance Co

Great Eastern Holdings says it will acquire about 103.5 million H shares of New China Life Insurance Company at HK$28.50 per share ($4.79 per share).

The NCI H shares were listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange by way of a global offering on December 15.

Great Eastern’s stake represents about 10% of the H share capital of NCI and about 3.3% of the enlarged share capital of NCI comprising H shares and domestic shares.
