Tiger Airways says it carried 481,000 passengers for the month of December 2011, a 12% decrease compared to the same month last year.
The average load factor across Asia and Australia for the month was 83%, down from 91% in December 2010.
From January to December, a total of 5.7 million passengers chose to fly with the budget carrier, in line with the number of passengers in the preceding 12 months.
Average load factor for the 12-month period to December 2011 was 83%, down 3 percentage points compared to the previous 12 months.
