Shares of Singapore-listed Yoma Strategic Holdings (YOMA.SI) jumped as much as 7.6% on Wednesday after the company said it plans to acquire the right to develop an area about six miles away from Myanmar’s main city Yangon, reported Reuters.
At 9:06 a.m., Yoma shares were up 7.6% at $0.285, outperforming the broader Straits Times Index <.FTSTI> which was 0.9% higher.
