Koon Holdings says wholly-owned subsidiary, Koon Construction has secured $14.7 million worth of contract works from Alstom Power Singapore.
The contract, jointly awarded to Sembcorp Design & Construction, has a total value of $53.5 million.
Alstom Power is the main contractor for the construction of seawater intake facilities for Sembcorp Cogen’s 400MW combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) plant to be built at the Banyan sector of Jurong Island.
The contract will bring Koon Holdings’ construction division’s outstanding order book to $114.4 million.
