Ryobi Kiso says it secured $39m worth of orders year to date

Ryobi Kiso Holdings, the specialist ground engineering solutions provider, announced today that it has secured orders worth $39.4 million in Singapore since the beginning of calendar year 2012.

Notably, the major new orders include:

  • Infrastructure
    Marina Coastal Expressway, Contract 481
  • Public Housing
    HDB Punggol East Contract 38
  • Commercial and Institutional
    Mediapolis at One North
    Extension of Singapore Institute of Management
    Extension of Institute of Mental Health
  • Private Residential
    The Nautical at Sembawang

Ong Tiong Siew, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Ryobi Kiso, says: “Our contract momentum in Singapore has continued since the end of calendar year 2011. This signifies our traction in securing new orders and replenishing our order books on a backdrop of healthy demand in the Singapore construction sector.”

According to the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore, Singapore’s total construction demand for 2012 is projected to be between $21 billion and $27 billion.

Public sector construction demand is expected to contribute about 60% of the overall construction demand while the private sector construction demand will contribute the remaining 40% in 2012.
