Ryobi Kiso unit acquires majority stake in two piling companies

Ryobi Kiso Holdings said its Australian unit, Ryobi Compile Holdings Pty Ltd, has signed two separate conditional sale and purchase agreements to acquire a 70% stake in each of Compile Australia Pty Limited and Compile-Ryobi Australia Pty Limited.

Compile Australia offers geotechnical contracting and piling services in Perth, Australia, while Compile Ryobi offers piling services to the commercial and civil sectors.

“The board of directors believes that the maiden foray into this region will allow the group to participate in the increased activities in the Australian resources and mining sectors, which have been growing on the back of demand driven by China,” Ryobi Kiso said.
