Jem, a $1.4 billion mall and office block by Lend Lease in Jurong East, has already pre-leased 80% of the retail space prior to its opening next year. When completed and fully leased, the new six-level mall will have 260 tenants. H&M, Uniqlo and Apple — via premium reseller EpiCentre — will add to its existing retail mix. H&M will be taking up 19,000 sq ft across three floors, marking its entry into a suburban mall. The office tower, situated above the retail component of the building, has been fully let under a 30-year lease to the Ministry of National Development, the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority, and the Building and Construction Authority.
