Ezra wins contracts from South Korean clients totalling US$245m

Ezra Holdings said its subsea arm EMAS AMC has secured two contracts with major South Korean clients worth a combined total of about US$200 million ($245 million).

The first contract was awarded by STX Offshore & Shipbuilding for the provision of engineering and project management work in offshore Africa. It will start with immediate effect. Offshore execution is scheduled to start in 2015.

For the second contract, Ezra’s EMAS AMC has entered into an agreement with DSME for one of its accommodation and hook-up support vessels also for operations in offshore Africa. Offshore operations are expected to start in the first quarter of 2014.

“The contract wins come on the back of an eventful year that saw Ezra’s revenue approaching its first billion dollar mark,” said Lionel Lee, managing director of Ezra.
