Noble Group swings back to black in 3Q with earnings of $92m

Noble Group has returned back to profitability in the third quarter.

For the three months ended Sept 30, Noble earnings amounting to US$75.2 million ($92.1 million), compared with a loss of US$17.5 million a year earlier.

Revenue grew 9% from a year ago to US$22.7 billion.

Noble said its energy and metals businesses continued to expand, but its agriculture division proved to be a letdown yet again.
