A consortium led by Thai tycoon Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi extended the deadline for its Fraser and Neave general offer by three weeks, keeping its bid at $8.88 per share as the market awaits formal documents from a rival’s $9.08 per share tender.
Property developer Keppel Land said it has established a US$3 billion multicurrency medium term note programme. DBS Bank, HSBC and Standard Chartered have been appointed the joint arrangers and initial dealers of the programme.
IPC Corporation said it was acquiring a business hotel in Japan for 434 million yen ($6.4 million). The acquisition marks the company's sixth business hotel in Japan and is expected to begin contributing positively to the group in December 2012.
