Sembcorp Marine said that its PPL Shipyard unit has secured two rig building contracts worth a total of US$417 million ($529 million) from Petroleros Oro Negro, S.A.P.I. de C.V.
In a filing to the Singapore Exchange, Sembcorp Marine said that the rigs are scheduled for delivery at end July 2015 and end of third quarter 2015.
The contracts are not expected to have any material impact on the consolidated net tangible assets and earnings per share of Sembcorp Marine for the year ending December 31, 2013, the company said.
