Singapore's sovereign fund company has changed its legal name from "overnment of Singapore Investment Corporation Private Limited to GIC Private Limited, it said in a statement on Tuesday.
Already widely known by its new name, the company said the name change "formalises the brand name in the global investment community and markets that GIC operates in" and that its operations remain unchanged.
