CNMC Goldmine Holdings said is Sokor Gold Project produced 3,419.51 ounces of gold doré bars in Sep, which is the highest for monthly output since the start of gold production in July 2010.
The company attributes this improvement in production to higher gold grade ore processed in the first leach yard; the commencement of production of the second leach yard; and enhancements made to the leaching process.
CNMC also said in line with the company’s strategy of ramping up gold production, construction of a third leach yard is in progress and is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2013.
