Cosco Corporation (Singapore) said that its shipyards have won US$300 million ($372 million) worth of contracts for the building of one accommodation barge and seven bulk carriers.
The shipyards are subsidiaries of the company's 51%-owned subsidiary, Cosco Shipyard Group.
The contracts are not expected to have a material impact on the net tangible assets and earnings per share of the company for the year ending December 31, 2014.
