Boustead unit wins $20 million contract to build Airbus training centre

Boustead Singapore says wholly-owned subsidiary Boustead Projects has won a contract in excess of $20 million to design and build the Airbus Asia Training Centre.

The centre is located at Seletar Aerospace Park in Singapore.

The two-floor AATC will be designed with two wings of flight simulator halls, which can accommodate up to 10 full-flight simulators.

The AATC will be situated beside the Satair Airbus Singapore Centre at the SAP, another aerospace project that was completed by Boustead Projects.

The AATC is the 15th aerospace project undertaken by Boustead Projects and its 7th aerospace project at the 320-hectare SAP, an integrated aerospace hub which is currently home to numerous global aerospace corporations.

The latest contract will raise the group’s order book backlog to over $315 million.

Boustead Singapore closed 0.3% higher at $1.75.
