PEC said it has secured $65 million worth of projects from new and existing MNC clients.
PEC was awarded a contract award by Petrochemical Corporation of Singapore (Private) Limited, a major petrochemical producer in Southeast Asia, to carry out piping, instrumentation and civil structural works for the Singapore Petrochemical Complex. The project is scheduled for completion by February 2012.
The group also secured an EPC contract fom SembCorp Utilities and Terminals, a unit of Sembcorp Industries, to carry out works for its multi-utilities facility at Banyan on Jurong Island. The project is expected to be completed in Seot 2013.
In addition, PEC also clinched its maiden deal with Sinopec Engineering & Construction (S) Pte Ltd, which is a Singapore subsidiary of the Sinopec Group. The contract involving Sinopec’s 80,000 tone lubricant plant in Singapore requires PEC to erect static and machinery equipment and the process furnace, as well as provide piping, electrical, instrumentation and control works. The project is slated for completion by March 2013.
