Fragrance Group saw a 9.65% fall in earnings to $21.26 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2012 from the corresponding period a year ago.
Turnover increased 22.6% to $102.55 million with progressive recognition of income from development projects.
The property sector contributed 85.2% to the quarter’s revenue. However, gross profit margin for the sector fell to 35.3% in the quarter from 35.9%.
The hotel sector contributed 14.8% of revenue, but gross profit margin also fell to 86.9% compared to 87.8% a year ago.
Earnings per share for the quarter was 0.8 cent, up from 0.7 cent a year ago.
