ST Engineering says aerospace arm will not proceed with acquisition of PEMCO

ST Engineering said its unit VT Aerospace has decided to terminate its asset purchase agreement with Pemco World Air Services Inc. which was signed on June 18.

VT Aerospace had intended to acquire PEMCO's Tampa aerospace facility and certain other assets.

The decision to terminate the agreement was made after certain closing conditions could not be fulfilled by Pemco prior to the closing deadline.
