Former staff of Darco Water Technologies' Taiwan unit found guilty

Darco Water Technologies said that the former general manager of Darco Engineering (Taiwan), Chen Kuai, was found guilty of criminal breach of trust and embezzlement by the Taipei District Court on June 18, and was sentenced to a total of six years imprisonment. Meanwhile, administration manager Nina Chiu, was found guilty of embezzlement and was sentenced to a three years and eight months jail term. The 16 suppliers that were charged for alleged complicity were dealt with separately. Darco Water added that the convictions will have no material financial impact on the company.
