Jun 18: Gazprom, Yangzijiang, Noble

The Straits Times Index (STI) ended -15.82 points lower or -0.48% to 3,274.44 on Tuesday, taking the year-to-date performance to +3.46%. The top active stocks were Keppel Corp (-0.84%), OCBC Bank (-0.92%), DBS (-0.35%), SingTel (-0.26%) and Noble (-0.72%). Here are some stocks to watch this morning:

Russian energy company Gazprom JSC has been granted an introductory listing for its global depository receipts (GDR) on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) mainboard. The shares underlying Gazprom GDR are currently listed on the Moscow Exchange.

Yangzijiang Shipbuilding (Holdings) announced that it has secured a shipbuilding contract for four 260,000DWT very large ore carriers.

Noble Group is issuing perpetual bonds totalling US$350 million with a coupon of 6.0%. The bonds have been rated Baa3 by Moody’s.

Koh Brothers is proposing the issue of $50 million 4.80% notes due 2018 under its $250 million multicurrency medium term note programme.
