Yoma Strategic Holdings on Tuesday said it has received an offer from Serge Pun & Associates to acquire a 70% stake in the land in Pun Hlaing Golf Estate (PHGE). The 10.8 million square feet land comprises 9.6 million square feet of a golf course and country club and 1.2 million square feet of land development rights, including some businesses infrastructure and facilities.
Proceeds from initial public offerings (IPOs) in Singapore shrank 72% in the first half of 2014 from a year ago, according to data compiled by Thomson Reuters, reflecting the subdued trading interest so far this year. Companies raised US$773.6 million on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) during the first six months of the year, down from US$2.77 billion during the same period last year.
Around 70,000 people have been affected by Tiger Airway's decision to shut down Indonesian associate Tigerair Mandala from July 1, the Singapore budget carrier said on Monday. These include customers in Singapore who had made advance bookings on flights to and from Jakarta and Bali, Tigerair said at a media briefing.

Frasers Hospitality Trust (FHT) has priced its upcoming initial public offering (IPO) at $0.88 per stapled security, giving investors who buy into the offer an indicative yield of 7% per annum. According to a draft prospectus filed on the Monetary Authority of Singapore's (MAS) website on Monday, Frasers Hospitality will sell 182.1 million stapled securities at its upcoming IPO.
