Prominent law firm sets up office in Myanmar

With ASEAN set to be an engine of growth and an investment destination of choice in the near future for local and multinational companies alike, Singapore law firm WongPartnership wants to make sure it’s well positioned in that space to take advantage of the work coming this way.

The firm, known for its recent high-profile work in ASEAN - such as ThaiBev’s $13.8 billion takeover tussle for Fraser & Neave , and IHH Healthcare Berhad’s $2.4 billion listing in Malaysia and Singapore - is setting up an office in Yangon, Myanmar.
