July 17: Olam, TEE Int'l, Sabana REIT, ISDN

The Straits Times Index (STI) on Wednesday ended +13.01 points higher or +0.40% to 3,304.43, taking the year-to-date performance to +4.41%. The top active stocks were UOB (+0.76%), SingTel (+0.77%), Global Logistic (+1.48%), DBS (+0.18%) and Biosensors (+3.47%). Here are some stocks and factors to watch this Thursday morning:

DBS Bank says there was strong demand for Olam International’s five-year $400 million bond issue from its private banking clients. The bank says it received orders exceeding $1.7 billion from 102 accounts. The bonds were priced at a final coupon of 4.25%.

TEE International, the engineering, infrastructure and real estate group’s said its total outstanding order book increased to almost $400 million with the addition of new contracts awarded in Singapore.

IREIT Global, a real estate investment trust, has lodged its preliminary prospectus with the Monetary Authority of Singapore for a listing on the SGX, according to local media reports.

Sabana Real Estate Investment Management, the manager of Sabana Shari’ah Compliant Industrial Real Estate Investment Trust (Sabana REIT) has announced a DPU of 1.86 cents for the quarter from 1 April 2014 to 30 June 2014.

Mainboard listed ISDN Holdings, the integrated engineering solutions provider, says its wholly owned subsidiary, Aenergy Holdings, is partnering Indonesia-based PT Jodo Alam Titra (PT Jodo), to create a portfolio of mini hydropower projects in Indonesia with combined capacity of 100 megawatt (MW).
