Apr 15: Bright World, Ezra, JES International

The following companies may have unusual price changes in Singapore trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are from the previous close. Singapore’s Straits Times Index fell 0.4% to 3,158.92.

Bright World Precision Machinery (BWPM SP): The maker of stamping machines said it won an order for the supply of 10.9 million yuan ($2.1 million) worth of equipment to Jiangyin Zhongnan Heavy Industries Co., a manufacturer of metal pipes. The stock dropped 2.4% to 60.5 cents.

Ezra Holdings (EZRA SP): The provider of logistics services to the oil and gas industry said second-quarter net income declined 23% to US$8 million from a year ago. Ezra was unchanged at $1.77.

JES International Holdings (JES SP): The China-based shipbuilder said it has appointed Tan Soh Ling as chief financial officer. Its shares dropped 4.6% to 31.5 cents.
