Suntec REIT hires banks for $150m sale of notes due 2016

Suntec Real Estate Investment Trust hired Citigroup Inc. and Standard Chartered Plc to help it sell $150 million of 3.1% notes due 2016, according to a Singapore stock exchange statement.
 
The notes will be issued under the company’s $500 million multi-currency medium term notes program, established on July 27, according to the statement. Proceeds will be used to refinance existing borrowings and for working capital purposes, according to the statement.
