Google Inc. plans to build data centers in Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The company will invest more than US$100 million ($128.7 million) each in the centers in Taiwan and Hong Kong, according to a statement from the company, which did not give an investment amount for the Singapore facility. Google did not give a timeframe for the operation of the facilities, saying the centers will come on line one to two years after construction begins.
