KSH wins $50m contract from Mount Alvernia Hospital

KSH Holdings, the construction, property development and property management group, has been awarded a contract win worth $49.9 million from Mount Alvernia Hospital for the additions and alterations to Mount Alvernia Hospital’s car park block, front lobby & side entrance extension.

With this new project, the existing order book of the group’s construction business elevates to over $385 million. The project will commence on Oct 6 or upon the issuance of “Permit to Commence Works” by the Building and Construction Authority, whichever is the latest. The contract period of the project is for a duration of 23 months.

Mount Alvernia Hospital is a not-for-profit hospital located at 820 Thomson Road. Under the terms of the contract, KSH will be constructing an extension to the front lobby of Mount Alvernia Hospital and an extension to the side entrance. In addition, the group will also be constructing a new medical suite block for a period of 23 months.

For the public sector, KSH is constructing two primary schools at Punggol Site 18 and Sengkang Site 12A for Ministry of Education. Under the private residential sector, the Group is constructing the Ardmore Three – an ultra niche 36-storey 84-units development in Ardmore Park as well as the luxurious Centennia Suites, a 36-storey freehold strata development in the prime River Valley Road area. Another prestigious on-going development is the Madison Residences, an 18-storey condominium in Bukit Timah, and Watten Residences, a 59-unit freehold strata homes development. Some of KSH’s other notable completed high-end residential projects includes The Orange Grove in Stevens Road and Marina Collection, Seascape, The Coast and Turquoise in Sentosa Cove.

The existing order book of over $385 million is expected to be completed by May 2014.
