Old Chang Kee, the curry puff manufacturer, says it will open its first outlet in Australia in December. Situated in the hip and trendy Waterford Plaza Shopping Centre, the walls of the Perth outlet will be adorned with pictures of the group’s signature curry puff, giving the outlet a distinctive Singaporean touch.

As a local, Waterford Plaza is neither "hip" nor "trendy". It's perhaps better described as "bummy, casual and uni-student-centric".
ReplyDeleteThat being said, it's a prime location for Old Chang Kee with the MASS asian population attending the university there. They will do well.
"Bummy" is an accurate description of the Australian way of life and to add; a poor contributor to the Australian GDP.
