Singapore plans to reduce dependence on foreign workers

Singapore’s increasing dependence on foreign workers is not sustainable, Finance Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam said in a budget speech in Parliament today, reported Bloomberg.

 

The government will take further measures to reduce the inflow of foreign workers, he said.
