Super Group announced a 25% y-o-y increase in revenue to $441 million and a 6% y-o-y increase in net profit to $61.9 million for the full-year ending Dec 31 (FY2011).
The group’s ingredient sales more than doubled to $122.4 million, contributing 28% of total sales, and came largely from both the East Asia and Southeast Asia markets.
Branded consumer sales increased by 9% due mainly to higher sales into the Southeast Asia markets and Mongolia. The group completed the installation of two additional non-dairy creamer production lines at the Wuxi plant in China in Sept, and started the construction of a RM28 million ($11.7 million) freeze-dry production line and a RM138 million botanical herbal extract production line at its Malaysia plant.
