Ezion Holdings has secured a US$80 million ($100.7 million) contract to provide a service rig to a national oil major over a four-year period for oil and gas activities in Central America.
The rig is expected to be working by 4Q2012 after refurbishment and upgrading, and will be the group’s second to be deployed in the Sonda de Campeche field.
The company also announced, on April 4, that $13.4 million of its $94.6 million placement net proceeds had been disbursed for the acquisition of offshore and marine assets.
