Ascendas and UEM Sunrise today broke ground for their joint venture development Nusajaya Tech Park, an integrated techpark at Gerbang Nusajaya, Iskandar Malaysia. The 210-hectare integrated tech park will be developed in phases over nine years. The start-up phase spanning 28 hectares of Ready-Built Facilities and land plots for Build-to-Suit developments will be completed by 2016. When fully completed, the park is expected to support some 200 enterprises. At the first release, the park has received 40 per cent pre-commitment for the Ready-Built facilities in the start-up phase.
