Jun 12: Tigerair, Tiong Seng, Total Access Communication

The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 3.78 points lower or -0.11% to 3,290.04 on Wednesday, taking the year-to-date performance to +3.95%. The top active stocks were Global Logistic (-3.26%), DBS (-0.12%), SingTel (unchanged), UOB (-0.22%), Mirach Energy (+14.75%). Here are some stocks to watch this Thursday morning:

Loss-making budget carrier Tigerair reported the number of passengers carried by its Singapore unit grew 17.7% year-on-year to 473,000 last month -- exceeding the capacity increase of 16.0%. Consequently, its passenger load factor improved by 0.9 percentage point to 84.9%.

Construction group and property developer Tiong Seng on Wednesday signed a joint-venture (JV) agreement with two listed Japanese companies to manufacture and supply precast tunnel segments to the Singapore and Malaysia markets.

Total Access Communication, Thailand's second-largest mobile operator plans to delist its secondary listing on the Singapore Exchange mainboard.
