Jul 2 morning preview

The Straits Times Index (STI) on Tuesday ended -13.03 points lower or -0.40% to 3,242.64, taking the year-to-date performance to +2.46%. The top active stocks were OCBC Bank (-1.05%), SingTel (-0.26%), DBS (+0.36%), UOB (-0.04%) and Golden Agri-Resources (-1.80%). Here are some stocks to watch this Wednesday morning:

Frasers Centrepoint Ltd (FCL) has reached a deal to buy Australia's Australand Property Group for about A$2.6 billion ($3.07 billion), the Australian firm said on Tuesday.

Keppel Corp's offshore and marine arm has secured contracts worth a total of $368 million, the firm said on Tuesday. The projects include converting a floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel and designing and carrying out fabrication and outfitting works for a subsea construction vessel.

BBR Holdings has secured a $196 million contract to construct a new hall of residence at Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
